It's a really neat addition to this show and if it gets expanded upon in the coming season, then I can say that the shift in tone and writing style that happened in the previous season is completely warranted.

Gumball knows how to tell a good story, and it's a hidden aspect I've seen in episodes like The Disaster, The Nest, and The Origins: Part Two. I kid you not, my #1 choice for this season is also my favorite Gumball episode, as like SpongeBob season 4, this season brought something with it: storytelling.
